Plans for the Summer

I was thinking of what I can do to make the most of my Summer in or out of the house. Sometimes going out of the house is tiring because of the heat. Well, its Summer. Thats the Summer heat is calling out to everyone to get a tan. But staying inside the house is more boring when you are trying to escape the Summer heat. Well, to tell you honestly, those are what me and my siblings are experiencing.

I then have a master plan for me and my sibling on how to enjoy our Summer fully indoor(e.g. house, Shopping malls, Sleep Overs, as long as your under the roof) or outdoor(Beach, Travel, as long as your away form a roof). So here are my ideas separated in two plans:

Plan A: Indoor Summer Excitement:
1. Eating Cold Fruits and Desserts

A very good choice of a fruit is an Apple, Pear and Watermelon. The most common dessert we all consume, Ice cream. If you want to do more than just consuming these choices, you can pass the time by making  your homemade ice cream or desserts such as Banana Split or Mango Float. These are our favorite summer sold beverages.

2. Training Your Pet

If your pet has miss a lot of his training from his master, now is the time to give him extra lessons. If you do not own a pet, I am sure your local pound has few pets to offer. Or you can go check out your local pet shop to get a new pet. Your pet may not be a dog or a cat, never the less you have to teach them a few trick. to maximize their capability. Teaching a bird a few tricks is fun. Especially if your bird can speak!

3. Learning a Musical Instrument

If you dream to be on a band or just plainly learn on how to use a musical instrument, it is best to learn it in a young age. It would take time for you to learn a certain instrument but you can always learn them fast when your secret weapon is with you, the Will to Learn. And don't forget to ask a friend or a relative to be your teacher. You will need him or her to teach you the basic. You'll both have fun along the way.

4. Time to Clean Up Your Room

It is that time of the year that you will need to clean up your room. It is tiring but think about the things you will find in your room. You can also put away some of the clothes that won't fit you anymore. With this, it is also like a treasure hunt where you find some of your childhood toys or even something more embarrassing, your diary.

5. Getting to Know the Computer World

It's Summer and you are indoor. Your company is, the one and only, computer. Turning on the computer and opening up Facebook, Twitter or MySpace is not all you can do all Summer. There are so much to do with your computer like learning Photoshop online, learning different languages like Japanese, or any tutorials offered to you free on the internet. Maximize the power of technology.

Plan B: Outdoor Summer Excitement:
1. Get a Tan

For crying out loud, its Summer! Get a tan. For people who are not worried of not getting pale white again, sorry to say you are SO not in. Tan is everywhere! Don't worry if you get dark, there are lots of lotion provided by your local stores. Having a bikini tan line is the most interesting part. You will see much dark you have gotten. Just don'e forget to put on some sun block to prevent skin cancer and don't leave your sun glasses on. Trust me. You will need to equally tan you face.

2. Learning a New Sport

Yes! Learning a new Sport such as football, badminton, volleyball or tennis. Swimming is also a sport. Now if you do not know how to float, then summer is the best time to learn how to swim. This will not only be fun, it also serves as an exercise. If you are into one sport, let say Basketball then it is also a great move to enhance your basketball skill and learn new tactics and tricks with your school varsity team.

3. See the World

If only we have the budget to travel away from the heat and see the world! But we can't so we are suggesting that you travel if you want to escape the heat and expose yourself to other countries culture. The coldest place I want to go is Alaska. That would be a great place to escape the heat. And I really want to try dog-sledding and picture myself with at least three Huskies or Alaskan Malumetes.

4. Getting a Part-time Job

Having a Part time Job is not all that fun. But it is in other's perspective. Why? Because you get to earn your own money and you get to have extra work experience. That does sounds cool. Maybe if you are at a right age, you can really say that doing part time is fun.

5. Going Out with Your Friends

Last but not the least, hanging out with your friends. Just go with the flow. Get together with your friends and have mini reunion by the beach under the Summer heat. You have to be at a beach at least once in your Summer. There are tons of stuff you can do at the beach which will be topic on my next article.

I hope you like my article. If you have comments, opinions or suggestions, ideas, please write anything below. Till next time! Happy Summer!
